Fortunately, our organization used Microsoft Office, and I quickly learned that Access was not the application it was 20 years ago. It now supports 255 simultaneous users on a local network and contains libraries which allowed me to interface with many other applications. I began to create databases and data analysis tools that saved the organization thousands of personnel hours annually, and millions of dollars in product development and maintenance costs.
